A Birthday Renku
My rengay writing buddy Cara Holman, is hosting a renku on her blog Prose Posies to celebrate her July birthday. Come over and join us here. I've just added my ku:
Kirsten Cliff is a writer of prose and poetry: particularly haiku and tanka. She is currently working on her first collection exploring her journey through leukaemia, titled “Patient Property”. Her poetry has been published in New Zealand, Australia, India, Japan, England and America, as well as on-line. She is editor of the haikai section of “a fine line”, The Magazine of the New Zealand Poetry Society. Her other creative interests include photography and craft-making, which she often combines with her haiku and tanka to make haiga.
Thanks for the haiku, Kirsten. :) I can really envision that!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Cara. We don't just have dairy cows around us, but quite a few paddocks of horses, too. Very cool to watch them and their antics! :)
