It's so nice to have the opportunity to see things through your eyes, Kirsten. Of course I had been visualizing my own fence! Seeing these photos with your haiku really makes them come alive for me. :)
Ah, cool! Thanks, Cara :) This fence along our property is shared with a cow paddock and the posts are pushed and moved aside as the cows put their heads through to reach the grass on our side. I took this photo a few months ago now and really liked it, and was glad when I found that it fit with my ku (the butterfly adds the colours of the pills).
It seems to be a fact of life any more for so many of us... counting out the pills....
