small stones of gratitude - day 22

My thanks today goes to the joy I find in food: the sweetness of seasonal pumpkin in a roast vegetable salad; the inky blue inside a warm blueberry muffin; that first sip of coffee on a cold winter morning, and the bitter melt of dark chocolate on my tongue.

  1. This sounds like a lot of my posts in which I write about food. :) There is joy in food especially when it pleases the sweet tooth in me! :) Love this one, Kirsten. :)

Oh, by the way, I wanted to tell you that I'm really inspired by your "small stones of gratitude" for this month and feel like this is something I'd like to do for September as a combined project with my journal swapping project. :)

    Thanks! Enjoy your words!

  2. Hi there, Kathy :)
I had such a lovely lunch today with my mum and partner that I just had to write about it! (And I appreciate food so much more now since chemo because of when I can't eat due to nausea.)
Thank you so much for your kind words. Happy to have inspired you!
